Evaluation of agronomically valuable traits in the 19 most promising honeysuckle samples bred at
I.V. Michurin All – Russian Research Institute of Horticulture
is given. In the period 2006 –
2008 period such indexes as a date of ripening, fruit mass, taste,
yield, fruit drop
were nnder study. This work resulted in selection of promising cvs for commercial production and
private farms also. These cvs are: Pamyati Kuminova, els 8-93-1,
21-94-1, 96-3,
96-4 yielding 1,5-2,2
kg
/ bush and with fruit mass from 0,98 to 1,35 grams.
