In Slovakia edible honeysuckle is a new and rather
promising
soft fruit crop. The article description of two honeysuckle cvs Amur
and Altai
bred in 2001 at Research Institute in Boinice in 2001 is given.
Biological
traits of some samples were estimated considering the effect of growth
conditions. The content of such biochemical compounds as soluble
solids,
sugars, organic acids, ascorbic acids,
mineral nutrients – K, Ca, P, Mg, Na, was determined.
